There are many reasons why we reached our 10 Year Anniversary at Acquirent and one of them is working with great people. Meet Shelli Anderson, one of our Team Players and one of the reasons we love coming to work each day. Below is as list of 10 reasons Shelli loves working at Acquirent.
1. Team Environment– from our CEO to our interns, everyone is a teammate and our “open door” policy (we have none) is available for everyone to learn, grow and lead together.
2. Dress Code– I like being comfortable at work and the “snappy” casual dress code is great. What we do is hard and being comfortable, but professional, while dialing is a great perk.
3. Trainings– You really do learn something new almost every day. Whether it is on the “fly” while making a call or in the weekly training courses that ACQ provides, everyone is provided resources to become better.
4. Easily Accessible– walk, run, bike, take the “L”, Metra or drive. It is convenient to get to and from work every day from just about anywhere.
5. Technology– ACQ keeps our teams moving with the great technology provided to each teammate. From wireless headsets so we can get some exercise while closing deals, the latest and greatest CRM functions to 10 + big screen TV’s with sales and social updates, we are able to work not only hard but smart.
6. Give Back and Have FUN– ACQ has both a philanthropic board that always comes up with great volunteer or community donation opportunities so teammates are able to give back to the Evanston area as well as a social board providing teammates with fun outings to bars or events as well as in office Jeopardy and poker nights so teammates can work hard and play hard.
7. High Fives– I mean it when I say we are “teammates” I have played sports all my life and I think I give more high fives at work than I do on the field.
8. Rewards– In addition to salary and commission ACQ also provides great benefits and an internal system called ACQknowledge with allows every teammate to give “props” to one another and the best part? IT’S WORTH MONEY!
9. Snacks– Food keeps everyone moving and it is such a benefit to be able to run to the ACQ Café to grab a quick apple (or Teddy Grahams) to get my mind moving.
10. Referral Program– We get paid to find teammates like us. In her spare time Shelli plays softball, attends live theater and eats copious amounts of bacon and deep fried foods given she’s from Wisconsin.
