If you’re a small business owner, you’ve likely heard about and perhaps even use, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Unfortunately, not all CRMs are made alike, and not all of them play nicely with smaller businesses. If you don’t, or can’t, have a team of experts onsite to take care of your convoluted and costly CRM, then you need an alternative. Small businesses should ditch the overly complex (and overpriced) CRMs for easier to use versions. See below for a few great options:
- Landslide: If you want great customer service and ease of access, this is the CRM for you. The help center for this CRM is top-notch and clearly defines the differences between feature based and setup based support. Some of the great features included are its email marketing services, lead management, sales forecasting & reporting, and much more.
- Insightly: If you’re running a tight budget and a small team, but still want a way to communicate and track current and future customers, then Insightly is a great pick for you. This CRM is free for up to three users, and you get 200 MB of storage for just signing up. Even with this free version, you’ll get an array of management systems as well as Google Apps integration and more. Plus, unlimited customer support is free and will help make the setup process that much easier. While this CRM doesn’t offer all of the features a larger business might need, for a small business or growing startup, it’s a top pick.
- Zoho: This CRM actually designates a particular package for small business owners. For just $12 a month, small businesses will receive access to sales forecasting, marketing campaigns, and a host of other features. Further, the social integration, which includes both Twitter and Facebook, makes tracking and keeping up with your customers a breeze. If you’re willing to spend a few bucks a month, this CRM comes highly recommended.
