Acquirent Year in Review

2012 has been the best year in Acquirent’s history. This last year brought us a marked increase in revenue and in number of employees. We’ve had to move on up to our newest office space in order to contain our latest growth spurt. We also started some new traditions that will help us create the stable foundation that this company intends to build on.

MOVIN’ ON UP

In April, we built out an entire floor of one of the most prestigious buildings at 1603 Orrington Ave in Downtown Evanston. Here’s a video with our founder, Joe Flanagan in the middle of the building process entitled, The Future of Acquirent.

2012 HIGHLIGHTS AT ACQUIRENT

  • Two employees were promoted from within the ranks into management roles.
  • We revamped and reworked our website to be bigger and better.
  • Inc. 5000 honoree for being one of the fast growing companies in the US.
  • We’ve hired 55 people this year … and we’re still growing!
  • Kim Kozeny was recently named the Acquirent Award Winner. This award is given each year to the individual that exemplifies the principles that we all desire in a colleague.

PRACTICING OUR PRINCIPLES

Acquirent continues to focus on professional development of our sales people through our quarterly lunch and learns and more formal training. Our employees continually participate in multiple philanthropic endeavors throughout the year. This has included clothing drive, cooking at homeless shelters, and charity races. The health of our company is also very important to us. We’ve created several wellness initiatives by a corporate work out program, provided companywide biometric testing, and even encourage working out at lunch!

ACQUIRENT IN THE NEXT YEAR

We’ve several things to look forward to in the next year. Acquirent has made a heavy investment into our Salesforce.com initiative. We are committed to rolling out a marketing automation solution and invest in ongoing sales training for our teams to help our sales people close more deals. We are continuing and improving our tremendously successful employee mentorship program. Continuing our growth, we are planning on hiring three sales managers in 2013 to help with our ever growing teams.
